How to Create Cinematic AI Ads With a Single Prompt

10xTeam October 27, 2025 4 min read

If I showed you a cinematic ad and told you it cost $100,000 to produce, you’d probably nod along. The quality, the lighting, the whole vibe… it just screams “big budget.”

But what if I told you it was made with a single prompt?

Yeah, you read that right. We’re at a point where you can create professional-grade video content from a few lines of structured text. And I’m going to show you exactly how.

This isn’t just another “look at this cool AI tool” post. I want to give you a real system you can use today to make incredible videos for your brand, your product, or just to tell a story.

Stop Prompting, Start Directing

So, what’s the secret? It’s the difference between writing a vague prompt and actually directing the AI.

Most of us start by typing something like, “Show a luxury watch in water.” We cross our fingers and hope the AI figures out what we mean by “luxury.” The results are usually… okay. A bit generic. Forgettable, even.

It’s like telling an actor to “just be sad.” You’ll get a performance, but probably not the one you envisioned.

This is where JSON prompting changes the game.

Don’t let the name scare you. It’s just a structured way of giving instructions. It’s clear. It’s specific. It’s like handing the AI a film director’s blueprint. No fluff, no guesswork.

Check out the difference.

Natural Prompt: Show a luxury watch in water.

Simple JSON Prompt:

{
  "scene": "dark room",
  "subject": "watch in water",
  "camera": "macro lens",
  "lighting": "blue, underwater glow"
}

You can immediately see how much more control this gives you. You’re not just suggesting an idea; you’re defining the scene, the subject, the camera, and the lighting. You’re the director.

And the results? They speak for themselves.

I’ve seen everything from a Tesla spinning in a high-tech showroom… to a Dior perfume bottle floating in a misty forest… to an iPhone tearing itself apart and reassembling mid-air.

Even a Bible slowly opening in a quiet stone church as a flood of light pours in.

Each one was created with a single, well-crafted JSON prompt.

Your 3-Step Workflow for Cinematic AI Video

So, how do you do it without manually writing code? It’s actually pretty simple. Here’s the workflow I use every single time.

Step 1: Open ChatGPT Pro

You’ll need the Pro version for this. Start a new chat.

Step 2: The Magic Instruction

Paste this exact instruction into ChatGPT:

You are a JSON prompt engineer for cinematic AI tools like Google V3. Structure the following video idea into a JSON prompt.

Step 3: Describe Your Vision

Right after that instruction, just describe the scene you have in your head. For example:

A sneaker floating on a thunderstorm-lit street.

ChatGPT will instantly spit out a fully structured JSON prompt, ready to go. You can then tweak any of the parameters you want—maybe change the lighting, the camera angle, whatever.

Putting It All Together in Google V3

Once you have your JSON prompt, head over to flow.google. That’s where the V3 model lives.

If you don’t have access, you can get it for free by signing up for Google Gemini Advanced. They give you 1,000 free credits to get started right away.

Once you’re in:

  1. Paste your JSON prompt into the box.
  2. Set the model to V3 Fast. It’s cheaper and honestly, the quality is often just as good, if not better.
  3. Click generate.

And that’s it. You’ll see your scene come to life. You can then upscale it for free right on the platform or use a tool like CapCut.

To save you some time, I’ve put together a full JSON Prompt Blueprint Pack. It has ready-to-use prompts (including the ones from the examples above), the ChatGPT template, and more. You can grab it for free in the AI Creator Tools community. The link’s in the pinned comment of the video.

We have a great group of people in there, all learning and experimenting with these tools together. We do regular Google Meets and have challenges to help you get better.

So, what are you waiting for? Go create something cinematic. I’ll see you in the next one.
